The Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership is hosting a Small Business Hackathon as part of our Houston Capital Circles initiative to help more local small business owners gain access to the knowledge, networks, and capital needed for entrepreneurial success.

We are looking for 20 volunteers who are passionate about supporting small businesses to join us. Volunteers will work with up to 3 business owners in a small group to refine their pitch presentations or complete our financial projections template. You’ll challenge them on the assumptions they are making, explain the basic best practices of pitching or financial modeling, and walk them through how to enter their information into the templates that we provide. What might seem very basic for you as a business professional can be daunting for a small business owner. Just two hours of your time during this session can make a huge impact.
