Started in 2024, Software Day is a monthly series driving the support, inspiration, and connections needed to help startups on their path to rapid, sustainable growth. Each month, Software Day includes office hours (by application), a keynote session, elevator pitches and networking.

Each month, we select between 5-15 startups.
Over the course of 2 hours, software founders are paired with leading mentors from the Mercury network who have expertise in high-growth software innovations.
Following the public speaking portion of the programming, those same startups will give an optional 60-second elevator pitch to all attendees of the keynote session.
The ideal profile of a company for this mentorship program is a pre-Series A software startup that is in the early stages of revenue generation. Interested startups are encouraged to submit their applications below.
Typical schedule:
- 1:00 – 1:30 PM: Check-in for Mentors & Participating Software Companies
- 1:30 – 3:30 PM: Private Office Hour Meetings with Mentors (2, 30-minute sessions per startup)
- 4:00 – 5:00 PM: Panel + Startup Pitches (Public Portion of the Event)
- 5:00 – 7:00 PM: Networking at Second Draught, brought to you by Gunderson Dettmer
You must apply. Startups are chosen a week before each event. Apply at any time, but deadlines are communicated for consideration into each month’s event.
