Introducing the Tackling Tech Computer Science Camp—a dynamic two-week program delving into the captivating realm of computer programming. Designed for high school students entering grades 10–12 in the forthcoming 2024–2025 academic year, this daytime camp unfolds modularly, covering diverse aspects of computer science. From foundational principles to cutting-edge topics like coding, Microsoft Fundamentals, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), participants are guided by seasoned instructors employing a project-based methodology for engaging and practical learning.
Expect hands-on projects, professional development workshops, and enlightening guest speaker sessions. Participants will forge connections with peers and mentors, refining their problem-solving skills. Moreover, they’ll enjoy fitness activities led by none other than Justin Reid himself, as well as the opportunity to create portfolio pieces and earn a Certificate of Completion personally signed by Reid.
