Join STEAM on Demand for a hands-on family-friendly STEAM workshop. In this lesson, students will learn about the basics of robotics, circuits, and how robots can be used to create art. They will explore key concepts like the components of an electrical circuit—power source, conductors, and electrical load—and understand how these elements work together to power a robot.
Through hands-on construction led by the STEAM on Demand platform, students will build their own “Art Bot,” a simple robot that uses rotational inertia to move and create art on its own. By the end of the lesson, students will have a foundational understanding of robotics, electrical circuits, and the relationship between movement and art.
This event will be tailored for 9-14-year-olds and their families for a fun STEAM experience! We look forward to building and learning with you!
