Isabel Almaguer is a Senior Data Advisor with a diverse background that bridges technology, design, and data storytelling. She earned her B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Houston–Downtown, along with minors in Mathematics and Art.
Isabel began her career as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where she spent four years researching solutions, visually communicating complex data, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Her growing interest in human-centered design led her to pursue a career transition into User Experience (UX).
To support this shift, Isabel earned a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Iowa State University. She brings a unique perspective to UX by combining technical skills, data fluency, and creativity. Isabel is passionate about community engagement and believes in using design to create meaningful, inclusive experiences.
