Join us for a special edition of Ion’s Visionary Voices executive speaker series featuring a conversation with Dan Ammann, President of ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions.
Dan, who joined ExxonMobil in 2022, brings a wealth of experience from a career spanning Wall Street (managing director at Morgan Stanley), Detroit (president of General Motors), and Silicon Valley (CEO of Cruise). Now at the helm of ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions, Dan is responsible for building a new business dedicated to delivering large-scale emissions reduction solutions. In 2023, Dan was named to TIME Magazine’s first-ever TIME100 Climate List, a list highlighting “100 of the world’s most influential leaders driving climate action in business.”
Maynard Holt, founder & CEO of Veriten and former Chief Executive Officer of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. from 2016 to 2021 with over 27 years of experience in energy investment banking and strategic advice, will moderate this exciting discussion.
Dan will discuss ExxonMobil’s plans to play a leading role in advancing a thoughtful energy transition by delivering the critical energy and products the world needs and reducing our own and others’ greenhouse gas emissions. He’ll talk about Low Carbon Solutions’ transformative projects and investments aimed at bringing lower-emission technologies like hydrogen, lithium, and carbon capture and storage to market, making them accessible to carbon-intensive industries worldwide.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dan is an avid amateur race car driver and recently raced his Mobil 1–liveried Porsche GT4 at the Classic 12 Hour race at Sebring International Raceway and the Classic 24 Hour race at Daytona International Speedway.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear directly from a visionary leader shaping a lower-carbon future! The fireside chat will be preceded by a networking breakfast you are encouraged to attend.
