what

Join us for a hands-on learning experience about cars—a stunning blend of engineering brilliance and aesthetic design. These vehicles are not just about modern innovation but the culmination of millennia of evolving ideas. From ancient inventions like the wheel and axle to modern marvels like cameras and computer processors, cars embody the spirit of continuous improvement.

Inventors can enhance existing concepts by crafting new designs or merging seemingly unrelated ideas to forge something extraordinary. In the STEAM on Demand platform, students will dive into the role of designers in the Engineering Design Process (EDP) and put this knowledge to use by designing and testing their very own sail car!

This event will be tailored for 9-14-year-olds and their families for a fun STEAM experience! We look forward to building and learning with you!
