DESCRIPTION:Participate in groundbreaking technology development to advance the healthcare industry into the future. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWelcoming innovators\, engineers\, students\, start-ups\, developers\, experts\, and community members alike to take part in Houston Methodist and Ion’s first reverse pitch event. During this session\, attendees will hear from Houston Methodist leaders about the problem statement\, goals & objectives\, program guidelines and timeframe to develop a unique digital solution to help advance the healthcare industry into the future. \nDetails: \n\nInterested attendees will be asked to submit a proposed abstract for the intended solution by November 1st.\nHouston Methodist and a select group of judges will review all submitted abstracts and choose a selection to advance to the final pitch presentation.\nFinalists will be provided with temporary work space at the Ion\, exclusive mentorship sessions with Houston Methodist leaders\, and access to specialized community experts to help prepare for the final pitch.\nIn early December\, final presentations will be shared and the top contenders will go in front of Houston Methodist’s Center for Innovation leadership team for a chance to pilot their solution in one of the leading hospitals in the USA.\n\nNo prior healthcare experience necessary. \n\n\n\nRegister here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/houston-methodist-ion-digital-innovation-reverse-pitch-info-session-tickets-991061821587.
